We’ve created EMF Experts News as a means of keeping graduates knowledgeable about key changes, and keeping graduate certification credentials relevant in the marketplace.   And it’s now as easy as reading a newsletter.  So, all you need to do is keep your EMF Experts News subscription up to date.

You can choose the Member Subscription or the Professional Subscription, either subscription will qualify as continuing education.

I'm Subscribed to EMF Expert News - What Now?

• How will the EMF Professional Directory Display my EMF Consultant ReCertification , or Continuing Education Credentials?

The EMF Professional Directory will always display the date that you achieved certification as an EMF Expert Consultant; in other words your graduation date from EMF Expert Consultant Certification training. However, in addition to stating that date, your listing will now reflect that your continuing education is up to date, just as long as your news subscription at EMF Experts News is active.

Here's  an example of how Continuing Ed Qualification will look on each Certified EMF Expert Consultant graduate listing in the directory. If you opt to simply subscribe to the free content of EMF Experts News, and not subscribe to the Member content that is designed for Continuing Education, then your Certification Date will still appear along with your ID Card and any awards you have attained,  but the statement saying "Continuing Education Qualifications are Up to Date" (seen here with a red checkbox) will not appear.

• Please Remind Me - How Do I Access My EMF Professional Directory Listing?

Upon graduation each Certified EMF Experts Consultant is given a free-for-life directory listing (unless they have specifically requested not to be listed in the directory for whatever reason). This listing displays your Certification credentials and basic contact info, and you add whatever other details you like.  You simply log into the directory and add or edit any listing content you'd like in order to promote your services, specialties, website url etc, and you can also modify your listing content for privacy. The content in your listing is accessible and editable by logging in to your account at: EMF Professional Directory.  Locate the login button on the top right, and use the email address that you provided during your training.

• How Important is the Continuing Education qualification? And does the EMF Experts News really cover ALL the news?
  

We'd say it is very important, both on a professional and a personal level. Especially considering how fast the Telecommunication Industry is expanding its technology each month, how frequently the EMF Spectrum governing bodies (such as the FCC) are making decisions directly related to our EMF exposure, how urgently the EMF Advocate groups worldwide are raising public awareness and calling for changes in legislation through legal action, how important the growing body of Scientific Research  into Biological Impact of EMF, or even how increasing your own level of awareness related to your own personal situation has become more imperative in recent years with the advent of more far reaching technology and more biological impact from it.

These are the kinds of issues the EMF Experts News endeavors to provide continuing education about; prioritizing what a variety of worldwide EMF experts see as the key issues.  However, since it would be impossible to cover ALL the news, and since there is so much misinformation and disinformation on the web posing as genuine information, the authors of EMF Experts News always make a point throughout their articles of recommending and referencing additional trusted, knowledgeable sources of educational information, encouraging readers to make informed choices.

• Why is there an Annual Quiz for EMF Expert Consultants? And what is the point of having it if it is Optional and testing is not required for Re-Certification?

An EMF Experts Consultant Quiz is offered annually, so you can see what key info-bits we consider to be most important of the past year of news. However, this multiple-choice Quiz is optional AND, just in case you miss a correct answer, it will show it to you and tell you where to learn more about it.

The Annual Quiz is an un-scored test, designed, not to test you academically for EMF Consultant Recertification, but rather as a learning tool to help you assess your grasp of the past year's EMF news so that your continuing education in the field of EMF Consulting remains both viable and valuable. To do this, the correct answer is displayed whenever an incorrect answer is given and, in addition, the location (link) of the published EMF Experts News article is provided, in which the correct answer appeared, to enable you to understand the answer in its larger context. 

We're finding this to be a very effective way to deliver continuing education conveniently and also at the lowest possible cost.

• Where do I take the Annual EMF Consultant Quiz, and How will I Know How to Find it each Year?  How Long Will It Be Available to Take or to View?
  

The Annual EMF MEMBER QUIZ is posted HERE in the online EMF Experts Classroom every year just after the New Year. You will find a new Quiz posted each January, always in this same place in the Classroom (My Courses, Annual EMF Member Quiz)

Each  Quiz will serve as a an overview of key news for the the previous year. Think of it as a 'year in review'. For example, the January 2020 Quiz reviews articles in the EMF Expert News that were published in 2019. So, it is a good way test how current your EMF info and knowledge is.

And you can also scan the EMF Experts news 'Archives' to see if you've missed any articles published prior to 2019

All previous years' quizzes will still be viewable as new annual quizzes are added, that means all quizzes will always be available if you ever wanted to review key EMF news that occurred in a certain year by simply retaking the Quiz for that year-in-review. Remember, again, the Quiz can always be located in 'My Courses' when you log into the EMF Experts Classroom.

• Will I Ever Lose My EMF Experts Consultant Certification

No, you will never lose it - you took the certification training and you graduated so that distinction has been earned forever.  However keeping your certification relevant means keeping yourself up to date with fast changing EMF events worldwide, and that takes Continuing Education. And that is where EMF Experts News provides you with ongoing education through its membership priority-content subscriptions.  However, no matter what EMF Experts News subscription you chose -- Free News, Member, Professional, or none at all -- you will never ‘lose’ your certification by this means.

I should add though, one possible exception where you might lose your right to practice using your Consultant ID Card could occur if we are ever legally notified of a cease-and-desist court order brought against you by some aggrieved consulting client.

• Will the EMF Expert Certification become Accredited?  Is it Officially Recognized in some way now? 
  

Yes, EMF Expert Certification training course is already recognized for Continuing Education credits and Professional Development Units by various licensing bodies. For example, if you are a Professional Engineer  (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Architectural, or any engineering discipline) this training qualifies as professional engineer continuing education (note: various states and countries have varying continuing ed requirements).

Additionally, many other professions (realtors, doctors, chiropractors, electricians etc) may recognize EMF Expert training for PDHs (professional development hours) in some jurisdictions; so check with your licensing body organization to see what they accept as PDHs in your situation.

The question of accreditation is a complex one. The short answer is while no accrediting body for EMF Consultant training education exists today,  our training is in fact respected worldwide for its high standard of excellence and it is recognized by various USA State Boards for maintaining various professional state licenses (such as engineers), and it is approved for qualifying professional development hours by many other professions.

To explain more about accreditation, official education accrediting bodies (such as IACET) are typically designed for universities, colleges, trade schools etc. and require many years of curriculum scrutiny,  thousands of dollars in applications and copious paperwork to be approved initially and then several thousand dollars per year and more scrutiny to maintain that approval. Meeting these kind of educational accreditation requirements are impractical and ill suited for a training program such as ours. For example, since our training must constantly change its curriculum to remain relevant it would mean a constant process of submitting applications (about $5,000 each) for continual course approval (a 3-year process) without ever really achieving accreditation as an 'established' course.

• Will Keeping my Continuing Ed up to date Ensure that my Certification will be Grandfathered in if Certified EMF Consultant become More Widely Recognized?

Yes, this is a very real possibility, although no-one can say for sure what will happen in the future.  I say it is highly  likely because like the LEEDS Certification (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design), which began simply as a green building training program offered by a professional engineer, much like the origins of our EMF Certification Training program, other similar programs have gained respect due to their well-trained services that created a demand by the general public, which later became widely recognized by state and municipal bodies worldwide. 

A licensed professional engineer is authorized to offer his services for money, and that includes training others in areas he is qualified to teach. As an important aside, although there are many on the web offering 'EMF training' for sale, they are not only academically unqualified to do so but they are also not authorized legally. So, where you get your training really does matter.

It is really no surprise to learn then that Engineering in particular, is an area that has spawned numerous spin-off professions that require specialized training, not very different from Certified EMF Consultants, such as certified septic system designers, certified building inspectors, certified fire alarm installers, certified elevator technicians, etc etc. These are today recognized professions, which require a prescribed course of training to ensure that they meet a "certified standard" of excellence, in these cases for the purpose of "keeping the public safe".

From my perspective, as an Electrical Engineer and the Founder of EMF Experts Consultant Certification training, wide spread recognition of our graduate Certified EMF Experts Consultants as respected professionals is not just a far off future possibility, it is already occurring. There is no question that the public demand for Certified EMF Expert Consultants is very rapidly growing, commensurate with growing public awareness and need. There is also an obvious need for well trained (certified credentials) EMF Consultants to protect the public from the misinformation and disinformation that abounds on the web. 

To anyone wondering whether or not keeping their certification credentials up to date is advised, my answer is a resounding Yes. Whether you use it now or in the future, as a professional in any related area of endeavor or simply for your personal use, it will always be a valuable asset in today's world.

• What Happens to my Certification, and my Continuing Education credentials, if you go out of Business?

First off we have no plans to go out of business and we are well funded, professionally qualified, dedicated and prepared to continue building EMF Experts training courses and graduate support services to meet the changing need well into the future.  And that goes for public services and support as well.

While no-one can predict the future, we can say that we have named others who are similarily well euipped to continue what we have begun.

As a graduate of our EMF Experts Consultant certification training your certification and any continuing education credentials you have achieved will always remain "yours to keep".  Your diploma will always bear witness to the fact  that it "certfies" by a recognized authority (recognized academically, legally and professionally) that you have completed the prescribed course of EMF Detection and Protection study to a high standard of excellence.  Your certification is well respected throughout the world, and the EMF safety industry, and this will not change.  What you make of your certification, as with any other credential, is up to you; in itself it offers no implied or intended guarantee.
